CHILD JUSTICE DIRECTORATE (CJD) AND NATIONAL CHILD JUSTICE FORUM (NCJF) RELEASES PUBLICATIONS ON CHILD JUSTICE

In April, 2021 the Child Justice Directorate (CJD) and National Child Justice Forum (NCJF) released four publications that are meant for use for training and as reference guides for practitioners in the child justice sub-sector.  The publications were developed with technical and financial support from UNICEF and USAID.

The publications are as follows:

This publication provides a quick reference to practitioners on domestic and international laws that provide for, protect and promote children’s rights. The publication is for use by all players in child protection circles.

This compendium provides statute and case law that address the most common yet complicated

acts and omissions bordering on Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV) that affect children and women. The aim of the publication

is to improve on quality and promote consistency when dealing with sexual and gender-based violence cases.
