COMMERCIAL COURT ROLLS OUT ITS CASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (CASEPRO)

The High Court Commercial Division on Friday the 3rd of June, 2022 commenced the rolling out of its new Case Management System (casepro). This was revealed during the training workshop organized for Commercial Court Judges at Sunbird Nkopola Lodge in Mangochi. In his opening remarks, the Judge President for Commercial Court Division, Hon. Justice Dr. Michael Mtambo stated that the objective of the system was to offer quick disposal of cases. He further stated that the system as an important tool will help to decongest the high traffic of cases that the division registers each month. The Judge President further said that the system will among other benefits help in tracing the progress of cases, case load and case time. The system which was developed by the Clicktech Solutions Limited in the year 2019 was later referred back to the developer in the year 2020 for revision in order to provide positive resolution to the objective of the Commercial Division.
